Andrew is a senior executive with over 25 years’ commercial experience across ANZ and the UK, gained mostly with global consumer-packaged goods organisations. Andrew has critical and deep experience in identifying, researching, developing, and implementing strategic paths to growth, across all elements of the sales, category, and marketing mix. He has a comprehensive knowledge of all levels of the P/L to EBITDA level, having consistently delivered sales and profit targets across a wide range of international markets, industry sectors and channels.
Andrew’s empathetic interpersonal style allows for effective engagement of colleagues and stakeholders from varied cultures and backgrounds. He has a collaborative leadership style, which improves organisational skill sets and creates wins through effective teamwork. He is excellent at aligning diverse teams to a shared vision of success, and then leading and transforming teams to quickly achieve results.
Andrew commenced his career in the consumer-packaged goods industry sector in New Zealand where 50% of retail grocery stores are small businesses working under an owner/operator franchise model. Andrew learned at an early stage critical lessons regarding the passion and focus needed to successfully run a SMB in a highly competitive environment.
Seeing first-hand the passion and focus of small business owners to plan, work, and win stayed with Andrew throughout his career. During his time with global consumer packaged goods companies, consumer electronics organisations, insurance companies and child-care franchises, Andrew found the early lessons about operating an SMB to be relevant to any organisation of any size. Andrew brings this combination of experience, thinking and passion to his clients, guiding them towards the outcome which they are seeking.
