Mellisa is a commercially focused senior executive with extensive experience, across national and multi-national corporations, brands, SMBs, start-ups, not-for-profits and as an owner of a small business. Mellisa has had extensive experience in Australia and across all major markets across APAC, India and the Sub-continent, MENA, South Africa, Europe, Canada, and the Americas. Expertise has been gained through global marketing, communications, digital, and brand leadership to develop a new hotel brand and launch 10 hotels in 7 countries in 6 months. Prior to this, agency leadership for a global premium airline including global P/L and remote teams in 27 countries. In China, agency leadership on Tourism Australia, and global brands Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, and Coty, and brand portfolios, as well as establishing a commercial sales and marketing division for a start-up company. Formerly, in Australia for two companies over 20 years leading marketing and commercial divisions to deliver brand, sales, revenue, growth, and profit objectives as well as new market entry through development and delivery of an international strategic growth plan.

Upon return from living and working in Asia, Asia Mellisa established Lantian Consulting to provide executive management, consulting and chief marketing officer service with Asia capabilities, a global perspective, and international experience. Recent work includes leadership and strategic marketing in large corporations, small businesses, and the public sector in a range of industry sectors to drive strategic objectives domestically, regionally and in over one-hundred countries internationally.

Mellisa is MBA qualified, graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAIDC), Non-Executive Board Director, Australia China Business Council member, and UNSW Business School Career Mentor to international students.
