Beate has over 20 years’ experience in SMBs, Start-ups, Not-for-Profits and as a Sole Trader. Previously, international experience in European markets and as a country representative across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Beate is entrenched in small-to-medium businesses through her affiliations, networks and work with clients where she has: provided a marketing strategy and executional plan for a HR Tech business; produced a go-to-market and brand strategy for a FinTech company; and, managed the marketing team for an Arborist business, where she achieved 5 consecutive months of exceeding website sales and KPIs. Expertise in the pharmaceutical sector includes working with Glaxo Smith Kline in Sydney on marketing initiatives for the Panadol and Children’s Panadol brands. Beate is also a Non-Executive Director for two NFPs, Feral Arts and It’s Not Funny (a charity supporting Parkinson’s Disease). Working as a part-time Marketing Director, a Digital Strategist, a NED, and with experience as a business owner, Beate is a well-rounded expert when it comes to enabling businesses to achieve growth.


Beate's experience with SMBs

Beate provides service to small-to-medium businesses as a part-time marketing director. One business is supplies arborists, land care businesses, and government councils. Engagement with this client provides great insight into challenges faced by the agricultural sector and agriculture businesses through environmental factors, such as drought and changes to climate patterns, destruction to vegetation and harvests by feral animals in search of food sources, as well as the impacts of mining and initiatives in environmentally friendly production methods. Beate also has significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry through her previous work with several large European pharmaceutical businesses. In this instance, Beate brings a depth of experience to SMBs on challenges faced by the industry. For example, the cost of drug development, increasing demand for shorter development cycles, increasing market share of generic drugs, and the implications of the emergence of 'super bugs’ and new virus strains. Beate’s experience in the sector adds value to SMBs seeking growth.
